We’re putting together our very own Neighborhood Soapbox Derby, and we need YOU (and your creativity) at the starting line! This is your chance to design, build, and race a homemade soapbox car down our course. Whether you’re handy with tools, full of wild ideas, or just love a good challenge, this is the perfect project to take on.

The Friend Phone is a neighborhood directory of landlines for families in Southern Village who want to make it easier for kids to connect, play, and build friendships—without relying on cell phones.
It’s a simple idea with big heart: give kids the freedom to call each other directly from home phones to make plans, check in, or just say hi. No apps, no screens—just voices, curiosity, and a dash of old-school charm.

Lightning Bugs
SV Wiffle Ball Team
A family-friendly group of parents and kids smacking the ball around and having a good time. Games are usually on Sunday nights. We bring the music and the gear, you bring the fun and cheer. Our name is inspired by the fireflies that come out in Southern Village every summer, just like us.
