Afternoon
ACTIVITIES
Tacos & CHILL
12 - 2 pm
12 - 4 pm
Xolo’s Tacos & Tlayudas
Local favorite Xolo’s is bringing the flavor with mouthwatering Mexican fare — think tacos and tortillas, served hot and ready. Lunch will be available for purchase, so come hungry and support this neighborhood gem!
Kona Ice
Beat the heat with a chill treat! Kona Ice will be in the parking lot scooping up customizable shaved ice in every color of the rainbow. It’s sweet, icy, and the perfect cooldown for kids and grown-ups alike.
BATTLE OF THE PADDLE
Pickleball Tourney
1 - 5 pm
We’re hosting a neighborhood doubles pickleball tournament on July 4th, and you’re invited to play! Whether you’re a first-timer, a seasoned paddle pro, or somewhere in between, this is your jam. Choose the division that fits you best, and we’ll handle the partner assignments and all the rest!
MUSIC: RELAY RELAY
12 - 2 PM
Relay Relay brings big sound and even bigger energy. With electric harmonies, nostalgic bangers, and a set list that spans Motown to modern pop, this husband-and-wife team will have the whole block singing along. Come for the covers, stay for the groove.
HOURLY POOL GAMES
1-5 PM
12:50 PM - Balloon Toss
Team up, take aim, and don’t flinch — it’s the classic test of soft hands and steely nerves. Water balloons will fly (and burst), but only one duo will go the distance without getting drenched.
1:50 PM - Bobbing for Beverages
Hydration meets competition. We’re tossing ice-cold drinks (sealed, don’t worry!) into the deep end. There’ll be one round for the kids and one for the grown-ups, because thirst knows no age limits.
2:50 PM - Canonball Contest
Make waves — literally. Style, splash radius, and sheer audacity are all fair game as we crown the King or Queen of the Deep End. Extra points for dramatic flair and patriotic belly flops.
3:50 PM - Pie-Eating Contest
No forks. No hands. No dignity. Just your face versus a tin full of whipped cream and glory. It’s fast, it’s messy, and it’s the most delicious way to earn bragging rights for the year.
4:50 PM - Dashing for Dollars
We’re throwing money in the pool, and your job is to go get it. Coins, stars, and mystery prizes await the bold and the breath-holdy. Goggles encouraged. And let’s keep it friendly down there!
NIGHTTIME
ACTIVITIES
FIREWORKS 7-9:45 PM
Once again, we’ll gather together and light up the sky! Bring the whole crew and gather for our annual show at Southern Community Park. The best viewing is from the Southern Community Park ball fields and around the Southern Village Green.
